Sewer Project
Crew #1 will continue working on the sanitary main on Eighth Avenue.
Crew #2 is working on a sanitary main on Third Avenue.
Crew #3 will be working on landscape clean up on the east side of the village working south to Fourth Avenue and then will move to the west side of the village.
Crew #4 is working on sanitary services west of Maple Street.
Village Newsletter
The village newsletter is available for delivery to you by email. You may sign-up to receive the newsletter by visiting www.cliftonillinois.com and clicking on the link located at the bottom of the first page. You will be directed to a registration form that you should complete and submit to begin receiving the newsletter and updates (boil order, notices, etc). Don’t forget, you may also view current and past newsletters by visiting the village website and clicking on “Clifton Village Communication Blog.”
Burning
Burning of leaves and landscape waste is allowed on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and sunset.
Yard Waste
Yard waste trash bags and/or stickers are available for purchase at the village office. Bags are $2.25 and stickers are $2.10. A&J will pick them up on regularly scheduled trash day.
Senior Citizens Appreciation Dinner
The Clifton Lioness Club will be sponsoring a free Senior Citizens Appreciation Dinner on Thursday, November 11, 2010, at 12:00 p.m. The dinner will be held at the St. Peter’s Parish Hall. If you have any questions, call JoAnn Scharp at (815) 694-2175.
