Sewer Project
While sewer construction continues in the south east portion of the village, some areas are released to begin hooking-in to the new sewer system (a few already have). Residents who live within the following areas can fill out an application for and be issued a permit to proceed:
The Northeast section of the village, i.e. homes that are both North of (or on) East Fourth Avenue and East of the railroad tracks.
West Second Avenue
West First Avenue
Lincoln Avenue between Locust and Maple Streets
North Maple and North Locust Streets north of Lincoln Avenue
400 block of South Main Street

Sewer Committee Meeting
A Sewer Committee Meeting is scheduled for tonight (Monday, May 9, 2011) at 7:00 p.m.
Cross-Connection Survey
If you have not already done so, the village would like to encourage you to fill out and return the Cross-Connection Survey that should have been received via mail. If you have not received a survey, please contact the village office (if you receive your newsletter via email, a copy has been attached). Your effort to ensure the safety of our village water supply is greatly appreciated.
Village Newsletter
The village newsletter is available for delivery to you by email. You may sign-up to receive the newsletter by visiting http://www.cliftonillinois.com/ and clicking on the link. You will be directed to a registration form that you should complete and submit to begin receiving the newsletter and updates (boil order, notices, etc). Don’t forget, you may also view current and past newsletters by visiting the village website and clicking on “Clifton Village Communication Blog.”
