Connection Assistance Grant
Residents should have received by now a letter stating the qualifications and application opportunities to apply for a grant the village has been awarded to assist (up to $900) qualified low to moderate income households in the Village of Clifton hook-up to the new sewer system. If you have not received a letter or have any questions, please contact the village office at (815) 694-2273.
Recycling
As you may have noticed, the recycling trailer was here on Saturday; however, you were not able to actually drop off your recycling. It seems that a different lock was attached to the trailer this week and staff did not have the key. River Valley Recycling apologizes for the mix-up and will be here again next month.
